Established October, 2004

Redwood Empire Mini Enthusiasts was conceived in the late spring of 2004 to fill a void for local MINI Cooper and classic Mini Cooper owners in the North San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California.  Although two fine clubs dedicated to these unique cars were already established in the East San Francisco Bay Area,  Mini  owners in San Francisco and those north of the Golden Gate Bridge felt they were without a local club.

September, 2004 marked our first success in getting local car owners involved in local runs. We have consistently grown each month since then, and we are now established as Northern California's largest and most active Mini - MINI Cooper car club.  We have multiple monthly regional events and runs. We warmly welcome all to participate and to join our ever growing family of Mini-MINI enthusiasts.

Our Mission

Redwood Empire Mini Enthusiasts was formed for both new and classic Mini Cooper owners located within an hour radius of the Petaluma to Healdsburg Highway 101 corridor. Counties initially served included San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Mendocino, and Lake. We now have active satellite chapters in the Sacramento Valley and the Mount Shasta-Redding Area, with additional chapters to be developed in outlying communities as local demand dictates. Anyone wishing to participate from outside of our area is invited to join our membership and our activities at no cost.

Our group is informal and activities are intended to be fun. We will do everything in our power to facilitate that goal for all members and guests. Participation in group activities is at the sole risk and cost of each participant. We charge no initial or yearly dues for membership in our club or to access our forums. We do not have monthly raffles to finance our club. Redwood Empire Mini Enthusiasts is a non-profit California 501(c) corporation. Donations to the club are both appreciated and necessary but are not tax deductible.
